Division of Underground Storage Tanks Is Seeking Comments on Draft Inspection Manual

The Division of Underground Storage Tanks (DUST) has prepared a comprehensive "Standardized Inspection Manual."  The Division is requesting interested persons to comment on the draft.  The 215 page manual provided guidance for division inspectors in making site inspections and provides a compilation of up-to-date compliance guidance documents.  The Chapter on Standardized Operational Compliance Inspections is a comprehensive checklist that inspectors can use when they inpsect a facility.  The Acceptable Records Documentation section provides the type of documentation state inspectors deem accpetable.  The Division is hoping to have comments by the end of May, but as I understand it the manual will be a work in progress and will be updated when needed.  Here is the link to the TDEC site for more information.
