State Fair: “Green From Head to Toe"

We all know that buildings, communities, and regions are becoming greener.  

But did you know that the Tennessee State Fair is also moving in that same direction?  

According to the Tennessean, the State Fair has developed a Green Energy Expo where visitors can see solar panels and wind turbines, it has bought four days worth of green energy from NES, and- get this- it will begin using “biodiesel made onsite from used cooking oil” to fuel its backhoes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment instead of relying on traditional diesel fuel sources.
