TDEC Wants Your Input: Top to Bottom Survey
07.25.11 3:03 PMTDEC sent out a survey on Friday related to Governor Haslam's plan to evaluate government from top-to-bottom (T2B) --a new acronymn for us--review with the goal of improving agency operations and service to all customers. As part of the process, the department of environment and conservation is seeking input, both internally and externally. The survey has been sent out to stakeholder groups and other individuals. The survey is anonymous but they believe it would be more helpful, particularly for organizations, to identify who is completing the survey. The survey does not restrict individual members of organizations or staff from commenting in addition to their organization's comments. Click here for the link to the survey.
It is a simple survey but probably difficult to answer. It asks to identify what TDEC does well, what they do not do well, what innovative ideas can you suggest, and other suggestions. TDEC reminds us that the submittals are public records and they want to have responses by August 12, 2011. While I am sure that TDEC will accept opinions from other sources, it provides a good opportunity to focus opinions.
